In this role, you will Lead the Hardware Development for our flagship premium and high-end ultrasound products.
You will play a key role in supporting existing ultrasound products and bringing new solutions to market.
You are responsible for Leading hardware development projects in support of quality improvements, parts obsolescence, assurance of supply strategies, product cost reduction, performance improvements, and new ultrasound features.
Working with hardware development and program teams to lead the planning, definition, specification, design, implementation, integration, and testing of hardware solutions Ensuring project execution is in line with project guidelines and directives, meeting goals for scope, quality, schedule, performance, investment, and product cost.
Working with project stakeholders to communicate and review plans, risks, mitigations, metrics, status, variances to plan, and corrective actions.
Leading the investigation of hardware issues coming from customers, production, and internal testing.
Working with other project leaders to manage cross-discipline and cross-project dependencies.
Staying current with industry hardware technologies and project management practices.
Ensuring compliance to corporate and regulatory agency policies/rules/procedures.
You are part ofYou will be working in our Ultrasound R&D team located at our Bothell, WA or Cambridge, MA site.
You will be part of a global team with members located across the United States and India.
To succeed in this role, you'll need a customer-first attitude and the following skills and experience.
BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering, or related discipline 8
years of experience with hardware development 3
years of experience with leading hardware projects Electronics design and test Experience working with suppliers Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interface in a cross-disciplinary manner, including with stakeholders Self-motivated individual with good organizational and time management skills Familiarity with medical devices and/or working in a regulated environment (Preferred) Familiarity with ultrasound (Preferred) Experience designing electro-mechanical products (Preferred) Experience with Agile US work authorization is a precondition of employment.
