You are responsible for The Platform Software (SW) Group Leader manages SW architects and teams responsible for definition and implementation of SW platform components.
Responsible for defining and driving the SW technology and architecture roadmap and is responsible for maintaining and improving the department's knowledge and expertise.
Drive reuse strategy across product lines by collaborating with global Philips organization to improve efficiency and productivity of the teams.
Formulates and implements long-term vision/direction/strategy:
steering the group to add maximum value to the business in the future.
Aligns the strategy with the current and future customer needs.
Works closely with advance development teams to further de-risk the SW and ensures the components are ready to be productized.
Inspires and contributes to cross-organizational strategy and project teams working on innovation themes and breakthroughs.
Drive platform adoption across multiple product development teams focused on delivering new or upgrading existing products to create superior customer experience.
Ensures department budget management, competence management, and allocates right people for the right job.
Hires talent as per hiring plan, supervises, develops, coaches and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the development function.
Develop and foster employee motivation and morale through leadership, positive working relationships, growth opportunities, development plans, rewards, and recognition.
Keeps abreast of technical developments through literature, technical contacts, and industry competition.
Ensure customer insights / requirements are understood and met.
Ensure excellent project execution by constantly optimizing project management practices in the department to exceed customer expectations.
Defines and tracks team / project level KPIs by leveraging the existing frameworks / metrics defined at organization level.
Takes data driven decisions.
Develop or facilitate engineering development of rapid prototypes to evaluate technical feasibility and elaborate functional requirements.
Ensure manufacturing, service, regulatory and other cross functional inputs are considered while developing modules.
Ensures compliance with product lifecycle, development procedures and processes as well as all applicable quality and regulatory requirements.
All to ensure great digital solutions are developed for our customers.
To succeed in this role, you'll need a customer-first attitude and the following 15
years of software engineering experience including at least 5 years of project and/or functional management experience Successful management of a software component in at least one complex multidisciplinary project required.
Experience must include project planning and task estimation.
Experience managing a geographically distributed team Understanding of Software architecture, and design targeting the Windows operating system required Experience and knowledge with medical product industry and specifically Medical Software Safety regulations from the FDA, IEC, AAMI, IEEE, and ISO working in regulated medical products industry required Experience in SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle) using multiple software development tools, and bug tracking tools required Experience and good understanding of Agile / SAFe development Experience working in the medical imaging industry preferred, ultrasound experience a strong plus Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering required; Master's preferred Project Management training a strong plus Well-versed in state-of-the-art software development tools and methodologies such as Agile development methodologies, etc.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
