Responsibilities:
GE Energy Management Services LLC seeks Sr Software Engineer C+
(multiple positions) to be responsible for providing technical leadership and defining, developing, and evolving software in a fast-paced and agile development environment using the latest software development technologies and infrastructure.
Effectively influence new ways of thinking about product/service design opportunities to cross-functional teams.
Work with user experience designers, product owners, and subject matter experts (SMEs) to understand product requirements & vision.
Support and participate in back-end real-time data analysis and optimization applications.
Drive increased efficiency across the teams, eliminating duplication, and leveraging product and technology reuse.
Apply principles of good software design, SDLC Agile (Scrum) methodology, CI/CD, and practices like refactoring, TDD, etc.
, to deliver high-quality, robust, secure, and exceptional software.
Write and test code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project.
Qualifications / Requirements:
The position requires Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science or STEM majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) and 7 years of progressively responsible post Bachelor's degree experience.
The position also requires:
3 years of experience with C+
software development 7 years of experience with using modern programming languages 5 years of experience with algorithm development 5 years of experience with unit testing development.

Qualifications:
The salary range for this position is $168,800-$171,120 per year.
The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience and their education.
