Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)
11+Month Contract

Client is seeking a seasoned Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join the team immediately. The ideal candidate will possess over 7 years of experience in testing, with a strong focus on automation using Katalon, Selenium, and other tools. This role requires expertise in various testing methodologies and a solid technical background in Java, JavaScript, and scripting languages.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automation scripts for API and UI testing using Katalon, Selenium, and Protractor.
- Conduct integration, regression, database, system, data verification, and user acceptance testing.
- Provide guidance and expertise in test planning, script construction, and execution.
- Ensure testing results are accessible and comprehensible, and track defects to closure.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience as an SDET, with hands-on experience in Katalon, Selenium, and Java.
- Proficiency in REST API, SOAP API, JSON, Maven, JIRA, and Code Cloud.
- Strong understanding of functional test planning, execution, and test management.
- Ability to apply testing standards, guidelines, and methodologies effectively.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
