Client is seeking a seasoned Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join the team immediately. The ideal candidate will possess over 7 years of experience in testing, with a strong focus on automation using Katalon, Selenium, and other tools. This role requires expertise in various testing methodologies and a solid technical background in Java, JavaScript, and scripting languages.



Responsibilities:


  • Develop and maintain automation scripts for API and UI testing using Katalon, Selenium, and Protractor.
  • Conduct integration, regression, database, system, data verification, and user acceptance testing.
  • Provide guidance and expertise in test planning, script construction, and execution.
  • Ensure testing results are accessible and comprehensible, and track defects to closure.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience as an SDET, with hands-on experience in Katalon, Selenium, and Java.
  • Proficiency in REST API, SOAP API, JSON, Maven, JIRA, and Code Cloud.
  • Strong understanding of functional test planning, execution, and test management.
  • Ability to apply testing standards, guidelines, and methodologies effectively.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
